ATTENTION WAUSAU BUSINESSES.
Commercial Rehabilitation Loan Program expands to cover all of Wausau.
The Wausau Commercial Rehabilitation Program was initially started to encourage and stimulate new and existing store front and structural improvements to businesses located in the downtown (Central Business District). The program's eligibility has now been expanded City-wide; so many more businesses can take advantage of this loan program.
The program administers low interest loans with a 15 year amortization schedule, a 3% interest rate, deferred for 1 year repayable in the next 6 years and then a balloon payment at the end of year 7. Funds are to be used for physical improvements to the building, but are not limited to facade and necessary structural changes. Funds can be used for façade renovations, on-site signage, awnings, second floor housing, code enforcement issues, roofing, structural repair and more so speak to us about what your goals are.we can help.
Please see our list of local loan programs to learn not only about the service of providing loans for Commercial Rehabilitation but for all the loan programs administered by the Community Development Department. |
